Just a couple weeks ago, the Bernadettes put on their fuzziest sweaters, warmest tights, and furriest earmuffs, and braved the cold winter air (and some snow!) to crash some theater festivals in NYC. We hawked our wares of cookies, crackers and secret tiny art experiences to patrons at Under the Radar Festival at the Public and to presenters and performance organizations from around the country at APAPNYC. We found some especially intrigued participants in the lobby of the New York Hilton Midtown, where we happily found some shelter from the snowy storm.
Bernadettes could be spotted singing and dancing on the streets, telling top secrets about the evil Regime, and even initiating a few new members to the Bernadettes’ Resistance movement to keep tiny art experiences alive. The ladies in yellow also got to experience their first NYC Metro ride!
If you haven’t been able to catch the Applied Mechanics’ Black Market pop-up show yet, don’t worry: those fabulous and mysterious Bernadettes in yellow will be popping up at events all over Philadelphia. Keep your eyes peeled! If you can’t contain your excitement and want the Black Market Bernadettes to come to your party or event, feel free to send us an email here.
